Summary: Seeking an EHS Manager to ensure employee safety, maintain compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, and transform the current EHS culture from compliance-based to culturally based.

Requirements:

  • BS in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environment, Health and Safety, Chemistry, Biology or related science field.

  • Advanced certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) NEBOSH Certification is desirable but not required.

  • 8-10 years of experience in environmental health and safety discipline with a strong focus on safety.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as a safety professional.

  • Experience in aerospace preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the transformation of the current EHS culture from compliance to culturally based.

  • Influence negotiation and conflict resolution

  • Provide strategic guidance for program management

  • Lead the investigation of all high actual/potential incidents and facilitate the root cause/corrective action (RCCA) with all key individuals within the site. Report findings as per the Incident Management Process.

  • Provide support for medical and industrial hygiene programs. Work closely with Human Resources and Operations teams on pre-employment fitness for duty and return-to-work program evaluations.

Skills:

  • Incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management

  • Strong technical and regulatory expertise in environmental health and safety regulatory requirements

  • Knowledge of industry standards including but not limited to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 4500

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
