Summary: Seeking an E&A Specialist with expertise in Electrical and Automation, capable of hands-on work and supervising vendors for a new build of a beverage facility.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 3+ years' experience in Electrical, Controls/Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering roles OR Associate degree with 7+ years' experience.

  • Expertise to integrate power switch gear, automation components, transformers, circuit protection with motors, valves, filters, and sensors.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • Experience in drafting electrical schematics with power and control systems.

  • Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, structured text, function blocks using Studio 5000.

  • SCADA and HMI programming knowledge. Wonderware software preferred.

  • Familiarity with industry standards like OSHA and UL requirements.

  • Preferred: Experience in the Food or Beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support start-up activities (commissioning, defining ways of working).

  • Draft electrical schematics and support power & controls.

  • Program & troubleshoot PLCs; HMI Programming.

  • Review User Requirement Specification (URS) & make necessary recommendations based on company standards.

  • Provide training for operators & maintenance teams according to company guidelines.

  • Review/Build electrical design using AUTOCAD; includes necessary calculations & SISTEMA documentation.

  • Create/Review Network Architecture & communication exchange signals between PLCs.

  • Streamline engineering processes by creating Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

  • Support all phases of the factory including concept/research; cost estimating; component selection; network design; panel design; layout; purchasing; device troubleshooting; PLC programming; HMI tagging; FAT support.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
