Electrical Design Engineering Supervisor

Summary: Seeking an Electrical Design Engineering Supervisor with hands-on experience in electrical design and circuit development, preferably in the automotive industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• Hands-on experience with electrical design and reviews

• Circuit design and development experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the automotive industry

• Leadership or supervisory experience in electronics design

Responsibilities:

• Determine the necessary engineering disciplines for tasks

• Interview and select candidates for engineering positions

• Manage time-off, work from home requests, and new hire orientations

• Develop business plans for electronic design group EPOs

• Conduct employee performance reviews and provide mentorship

• Review electronic RFQs and assign project work accordingly

• Evaluate purchasing requests for electronic component substitution

• Assign MRO responsibilities and cover as needed

• Provide support for production issues and process design groups

• Ensure timely completion of design reviews, project reviews, and other activities

• Handle disciplinary actions when required

• Identify training needs of the team

• Manage daily work roster during emergency situations

• Approve computer/program setups or additions for team members

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
