Quality Inspector
Summary: Seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections of machined and sheet metal parts, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in machining and/or sheet metal industry
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and standards
- Knowledge of inspection equipment setup and calibration
- Understanding of geometric tolerance and verification methods
- Strong statistical and numerical ability
Preferred Skills:
- Related technical Associate's degree
Responsibilities:
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections visually and mechanically
- Verify completion of returned parts
- Identify quality issues during the shift
- Collaborate on verification/validation protocols with design engineers and technicians
- Assist in developing inspection processes and equipment when needed
- Ensure calibration and repair of inspection equipment
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
