Summary: Seeking a Technician III-Power Repair specialist to test, verify, calibrate, and troubleshoot high power and complex medical equipment.

Job Requirements:

  • Technical certificate or equivalent

  • 3 years of related experience

  • Understanding of analog and digital circuit theory

  • Knowledge of component identification and theory, power formulas, filters, op-amp theory, basic semiconductors

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex circuits to the component level

  • Proficiency in reading schematics

  • Familiarity with digital multi-meter (DMM), oscilloscope, spectrum & network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, frequency counters

  • Basic computer skills

  • US citizenship required

Preferred Skills:

  • High Voltage and/or RF experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and troubleshoot complex systems down to component level daily

  • Test and adjust amplifiers for power level, bandwidth, linearity, VSWR, coupling, drift testing, settling time adjustments, noise levels, overload levels to meet specifications

  • Adjust power supplies for specified output and safety specifications

  • Maintain and calibrate test stations and associated equipment

  • Perform component-level troubleshooting on all assemblies

  • Provide repair team with necessary data for accurate repairs

  • Maintain detailed records for quality acceptance team regarding repairs performed

  • Keep workstation neat and orderly

  • Follow quality and safety standards and regulations



Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
