Thermal Analyst

Summary: Seeking a thermal analyst experienced in spacecraft thermal design, with proficiency in thermal desktop analysis and the ability to train junior analysts.

Job Requirements:

• Spacecraft thermal design experience to support Rancor/Kamino
• Proficiency in thermal analysis, including running thermal desktop
• Ability to select Thermal Control System (TCS) components
• 5+ years of experience in thermal analysis
• Willingness to provide consultation, guidance, and review for junior analysts

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in analysis for radiation, atomic oxygen, and general space effects

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Thermal/Fluids Team, primarily through remote work
• Conduct thermal analysis, with a focus on spacecraft thermal design
• Train and mentor junior analysts in overall thermal analysis work
• Select appropriate Thermal Control System components
• Offer consultation, guidance, and review to junior analysts
• Perform analysis for radiation, atomic oxygen, and other space effects

Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
