Datacenter IT Admin

Summary: Seeking a Sr Cloud Datacenter IT Admin with specialized skills in cloud infrastructure, active security clearance, and strong backend capabilities to administer and optimize closed area systems.

Requirements:

• Active security clearance (TS preferred or Full Secret minimum)

• Security+ certification

• 5+ years of IT administration experience with on-premise environments

• Proficiency in managing large-scale server infrastructure including hardware, operating systems, networks, and data center operations

• Strong understanding of Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) including virtualization and containerization

• Proficient in scripting languages for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible)

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or similar professional certifications

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker

• Knowledge of orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes

Responsibilities:

• Administer closed area infrastructure including servers, storage, and network operations

• Develop and maintain reliable on-premise IaaS, PaaS and SaaS Services

• Implement infrastructure standards and best practices for robustness

• Automate routine operations to improve efficiency through tools and scripting

• Collaborate with Platform Engineering Group for system performance optimization

• Proactively monitor system health to identify issues early and provide solutions

Additional Information:

• Duration: 6+ Months contract with potential extension based on performance.

• Work Schedule: 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off; work hours from 07:00 to 16:30.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour
