Mold Maker

Summary: Seeking an experienced Mold Maker for maintenance, repair, and design of injection molds and tooling.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma required; Technical degree or certification preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years mold making experience.

• Proficient in using tool room equipment (lathes, mills, EDMs, grinders).

• Experience with CNC equipment programming and operation is a plus.

• Skilled in maintaining tight tolerance specifications.

• Capable of interpreting part drawings.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in the design and construction of secondary fixtures.

• Familiarity with routine maintenance of customer-owned tooling and molds.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative and routine maintenance on tooling and molds.

• Participate in the design, building, maintenance, and repair of injection molds.

• Operate mold shop equipment such as lathes, grinders, mills.

• Maintain overall housekeeping of the tooling department.

• Help achieve established goals and standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently walk and stand for long periods.

• Regularly bend and stoop.

• Lift and carry weights ranging from 2 to 50 pounds occasionally push or pull objects.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $25.00 to $45.00 per hour
