Summary: Seeking a Material Handler II to manage inventory, operate various warehouse equipment, and maintain accurate data records.

Job Requirements:

  • Utilize computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and recording information

  • Load and unload materials manually from pallets and trays

  • Perform physical inventory counts using manual counting or weigh scales

  • Adhere to ethical judgment in compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations

  • Organize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines

  • Engage in safety management practices

  • Demonstrate proficiency in data entry and information analysis

  • Capable of heavy lifting as required for the role

  • Execute inventory control measures and handle complex instructions or paperwork

  • Display process improvement capabilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience operating handheld scanners with speed and accuracy

  • Advanced math skills for handling shipping documents and inventory counts

Responsibilities:

  • Open containers with hand tools; count, weigh, and sample materials accurately

  • Ensure safety standards are met within the warehouse environment

  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving desired results collaboratively

  • Manage schedules effectively to accommodate potential weekend or holiday shifts

  • Operate propane or electric-powered forklifts and clamp trucks safely

Experience Required:

  • Minimum three years of experience in a warehouse setting

  • Experience managing inventory processes

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license

  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs consistently throughout the workday

  • Flexibility in work schedule including weekends, holidays, early mornings or evenings

Additional Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education level Proficiency in English (oral and written communication) Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Suite, and related software applications

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
