Summary: Seeking a skilled HVAC System Designer with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and experience in HVAC system/layout design for multifamily and commercial projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in HVAC system and layout design is essential.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience in multifamily project design is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in selecting HVAC systems including DX split systems, packaged A/C systems, ductless fan coils, and Rooftop Units.
  • Previous experience in designing air distribution systems and exhaust systems for multifamily and/or commercial new construction or remodel projects.
  • Familiarity with completing COMCheck forms.
  • Experience in calculating heat loss/gain loads using software similar to Carrier HAP is a significant advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC design principles and systems.
  • Technical proficiency in related software and tools for HVAC design.

Responsibilities:

  • Design HVAC systems and layouts, with a focus on multifamily and commercial projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for designing and drafting HVAC systems.
  • Select appropriate HVAC systems for various project requirements, including DX split systems and packaged A/C systems.
  • Develop air distribution and exhaust systems for new construction and remodel projects.
  • Complete COMCheck forms as part of the design process.
  • Calculate heat loss/gain loads for projects using specialized software.


Pay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
