Summary:
Project Quality Control Manager needed for full-time role overseeing quality management functions in heavy-civil construction projects.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a four-year engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of ten years of documented experience in a construction quality control management role, or eight years with Professional Engineer licensure.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry practices, including supervision, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and project status reporting.
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management software systems.
  • Credentials such as NETTCP Quality Assurance Technologist and USACE Construction Quality Manager Certification, or the ability to attain these.
  • Experience in heavy-civil construction is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the key operational leader in decision-making and strategy for all project quality management functions, assessing materials and work from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Provide continuous quality control-related technical input for construction planning, design interpretation, and the development of efficient construction methods and quality control processes.
  • Oversee the scheduling and management of all necessary quality testing, inspections, and related documentation, encompassing third-party quality control services.
  • Handle the essential quality processes as stipulated in contract documents, specifications, drawings, and engineering calculations for various work activities (including crane/hoisting lifts, temporary works, falsework, shoring, formwork, safety systems, and more).
  • Develop and enforce a project-specific Quality Control Plan in line with company policies, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with the QA/QC Management Plan.
  • Acquire an extensive understanding of project contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and referenced requirements.


Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
