Summary: Seeking an Electrical and Automation Specialist with hands-on experience and supervisory abilities for a new beverage facility build-out.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 3+ years experience in Electrical, Controls/Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering related roles OR Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 7+ years experience in similar roles

  • Expertise to integrate power switch gear, automation components, transformers, branch circuit protection with motors, valves, filters, and sensors into a high-quality system

  • Proficient in AutoCAD

  • Experience in drafting electrical schematics with power and control systems

  • Expertise in programming and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic, structured text, and function blocks using Studio 5000

  • Experience in SCADA and HMI programming. Preferably Wonderware software

  • Knowledge of industry standards like OSHA and UL requirements

  • Experience in Food or Beverage industry is preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support start-up activities including commissioning, defining ways of working, learning E2E Liquid Processing process

  • Draft electrical schematics and support power & controls; Program & Troubleshoot PLC?s; HMI Programming

  • Review User Requirement Specification (URS) and make necessary Electrical and Automation recommendations based on company standards.

  • Provide training for operators and maintenance teams according to company guidelines.

  • Review/Build electrical design using AUTOCAD according to company standards. This includes necessary electrical calculations and SISTEMA documentation.

  • Review/ Build Pneumatic Designs needed for projects.

  • Create checklist for FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) according to company guidelines.

  • Streamline engineering processes by creating Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

  • Support all phases of the factory including concept research; estimating cost; component selection; network design; panel design; layout; purchasing; device troubleshooting; PLC programming; HMI tagging.

 



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
