Requirements:
  • Must have 3-5 years experience in controls engineer role Associates degree required Experience with PLC and HMI programming
  • Experience with AutoCAD electrical Experience with control system application through project lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley powerflex drives, Kinetix drives, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View, Guard Logix controllers, Sensors, Analog sensors, and PLC platforms.
  • Knowledge of Siemens SIMATIC Knowledge of codes and standards applicable to industrial control systems including NEC, NFPA79, and UL698

  • Job Description:
  • Analyzes the mechanical design, review customers requirements and specifications to determine the optimal controls system solutions
  • Works directly with mechanical engineers, tooling designer, and the project manager to support an on time, on budget machine delivery.
  • Support procurement and presents status and options as required -Supports manufacturing to assess progress, provide technical assistance, final inspection and sign off. -Perform on-site visits for control system start-ups
  • Responsible for meeting project schedule, engineering hour budgets, and customer satisfaction targets for own activities or on a project leadership basis if assigned in support of the assigned project team.
