Summary: Seeking a Systems Administrator with strong experience in handling Windows systems, server operations and network management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security or related field, and minimum 6 years related experience; or a Master's degree in same fields, and minimum 4 years related experience.

  • Minimum of (1) year's experience with update deployment and automation platforms such as WSUS, PowerShell and Ansible.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform software installations and upgrades to Windows operating systems and software packages; maintain them per policies, procedures and service level agreements.

  • Own and maintain a Windows domain; update/create group policy objects as necessary.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and wide area network-related problems associated with the assigned Enterprise system(s).

  • Coordinate with server and operating system vendors to resolve issues, arrange service, and obtain support.

  • Install and provide support for internal development software and applications.

  • Ensure data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.

  • Conduct routine hardware/software audits of servers for compliance with established standards, policies, procedures & configuration guidelines.

  • Manage proactive/reactive systems administration activities to ensure availability, integrity & reliability of networked/stand-alone systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience performing complex infrastructure design including planning interactions of multiple applications (HA, DB Networks).

  • Scripting for automation of tools.

  • Proficiency with SMB,NFS, DFS,KMS,Certificate Authority & VMWare vSphere products.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
