Requirements:
  • 8+ years of professional experience with structural analysis
  • Deep understanding of structural analysis concepts: Stress/strain, linear/non-linear, static and dynamic analysis, structural fatigue, fracture and damage tolerance, bolted joints, etc.
  • Experience with military or aerospace structural environments (i.e. Mil-Std-810 or DO-160)
  • Experience with aircraft structure: Including primary structure, podded system, bomb racks, or launchers
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program Additional Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with NAVAIR 4.0 and/or SEEK EAGLE airworthiness processes needed to obtain flight clearance
  • Experience with solid modeling CAD tool such as CREO or equivalent
  • Current Active DoD Secret or higher Clearance Job Description:  Will work as a Principal Mechanical Engineer, focusing on structural analysis and development of mechanical systems for military environments, particularly aircraft and armament products. Will also be responsible for overseeing mechanical analysis engineers, performing various types of structural analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant military and aerospace standards.
