Product Development Mechanical Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Product Development Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and enhance industrial equipment within established standards and workflows.
Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience designing or supporting industrial equipment

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET) or related field; Masters in Mechanical Engineering a plus
-
Exposure to design of automatic equipment
-
3D CAD experience
-
2D CAD drafting experience
-
Microsoft Office experience
Preferred Skills:

SolidWorks experience a plus
-
Pneumatics experience a plus
Job Responsibilities:
-
Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to product design and development
-
Solve mechanical engineering problems from component through system level
-
Maintain accurate documentation of designs, calculations, drawings, and processes
-
Ensure new products meet functional and non-functional specifications including safety, performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability

Conduct validation tests to ensure product quality
-
Troubleshoot operational issues and devise remedies
-
Apply engineering theory to solve complex problems
-
Learn & apply new skills as projects require; maintain knowledge of new technologies
-
Identify & act on opportunities for continuous improvement
-
Collaborate with teammates and other colleagues; direct junior engineers as necessary
-
Travel to customer sites for pre-production tests or troubleshooting (less than 10%)
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
