Quality Systems Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to support test lab operations, maintain quality systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science (Engineering Preferred)
5-10 years of experience in quality/manufacturing/process engineering
Proficiency in ERP, Laboratory Management software, quality systems, and Management of Change
Background in continuous improvement with problem-solving and root cause analysis experience
Knowledge of statistical methods and standards
Familiarity with quality systems, ISO9001/AS9100 requirements
Experience in material/analytical testing
Understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain
Preferred Skills:
Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Job Responsibilities:
Support test lab for production by applying quality and statistical principles
Maintain safety and quality systems within laboratory and site operations
Write standard operating procedures (SOPs), test procedures, and data sheets documents
Oversee the Calibration program
Conduct customer-specific tests and generate test data reports
Collaborate with the Technical Support Department for timely inquiry responses related to laboratory tests
Enhance lab equipment in collaboration with engineering
Provide testing support for new product releases
Ensure effective operation and maintenance of all laboratory equipment
Develop SOPs to comply with regulatory and AS9100 requirements
Evaluate new equipment/raw materials for safety compliance
Oversee procurement of supplies and preventive maintenance of facility equipment
Provide technical assistance via various communication channels
Complete technical product reports on encountered product problems
Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams
Handle/testing samples adhering to OSHA/safety policies
Address management requests promptly
Conduct required quality/safety audits
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
