Seeking a Product Design and Integration Engineer responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of new products from concept to launch.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 8+ years of experience in product design and integration leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in full life-cycle product design and development from scratch to launch.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, with Creo highly preferred.
  • Experience in a system engineering practitioner role with knowledge of systems engineering tools, techniques, and standard methodologies.
  • Experience with engineering modeling software and FEA.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes, including injection molding, die casting, stamping, finishing, and assembly.
  • Experience with design for manufacturability, cost estimation, GD&T, Systems DFMEA, PPAP, and design verification and validation.
  • Ability to lead multiple concurrent assignments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of APQP methodologies and NPD launch stage gate processes.
  • Strong understanding of DFC design standards and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design coordination, development, and integration of new products that meet consumer needs.
  • Manage product and system requirements, specifications, and flow down to define requirements for modules or components.
  • Lead components and modules through design, first article, engineering builds, pilot runs, and PPAP.
  • Lead technical teams, develop design requirements, and conduct design risk assessments using industry standards.
  • Establish and validate system-level product requirements using DVP+R, simulation, and prototyping techniques.
  • Oversee technical execution of new platforms and technologies, including technical issue resolution and root cause identification.
  • Design, build, and execute test plans, presenting results and technical issue impacts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Handle and approve technical tradeoffs to deliver production integration requirements from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Architecture, Compliance, and Subsystem teams during platform prioritization and roadmap development.
  • Travel up to 10% within the United States and internationally.


Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
