Software Test Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Software Test Engineer to develop and deliver software solutions for automotive manufacturing environments, focusing on automation, data collection, and analysis.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or related field
8+ years of experience in hardware/software design and database management for manufacturing applications
Advanced knowledge of .NET (VB.NET and C#) programming languages
Advanced knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server)
Advanced knowledge of electrical architecture in manufacturing test systems
Advanced knowledge of electromechanical devices and data acquisition systems
Advanced knowledge of microcontroller architecture and flashing
Advanced understanding of SAE J1939 protocol
Proficiency with source code control (BitBucket, Git, SVN or equivalent)
Proficiency with cybersecurity governance, methods, techniques, and tools
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in LabVIEW VI development and deployment
Proficiency with the latest web development languages/tools
Job Responsibilities:
Develop software solutions to automate product manufacturing and laboratory testing
Create enterprise solutions for high-volume data collection, reporting, and management
Develop expertise in the electromechanical function and testing of products
Lead design, documentation, and code reviews for both hardware and software tasks
Create and document software architecture from system level down
Plan and deliver timely software solutions using both waterfall and agile methodologies
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and industry best practices
Mentor and train lower-level engineers or interns
Pay Details: $50.00 to $65.00 per hour
