Assembler

Summary: Seeking an Assembler for production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including support in manufacturing operations and distribution centers.

• Requirements:

  • Basic job knowledge of production-related systems and procedures

  • Ability to perform tasks ranging from repetitive to nonrepetitive assembly operations

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws

  • Familiarity with visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, and process flow sheets

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly of electronic/mechanical assemblies and subassemblies

  • Conduct picking and packing operations

  • Execute quality inspections according to specifications

  • Disassemble, rework, reassemble, and test experimental/prototype assemblies

  • Support manufacturing operations including machinery processing and packaging

  • Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in production/processing

  • Report machine malfunctions or abnormalities for adjustment recommendations

Pay: 18-21

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
