Summary: Seeking a Process Engineer with expertise in plastic extrusion, tooling design, and process development to enhance quality, material usage, and productivity.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience with different plastic resins and processing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills:

  • Plastic extrusion die design experience

Responsibilities:

  • Design tooling and develop processes for mono/co-extrusion plastic profiles
  • Lead new tooling development projects ensuring timely delivery
  • Collaborate with production, QC, maintenance teams for process development
  • Oversee tool making activities ensuring compliance with design standards
  • Troubleshoot daily process difficulties and support production needs
  • Coordinate procurement needs for the machine shop
  • Plan and conduct tool development trials


Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
