VDC Modeler
Summary: Seeking a VDC Modeler with expertise in Revit and experience in VDC/BIM modeling for electrical construction projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of full-time Revit use
- Minimum 2 years of experience in VDC/BIM modeling, preferably in electrical construction
- Electrical Journeyman License or Drafting Degree/Certificates preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D models for electrical systems
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts
- Create electrical design-build documents and prefabrication drawings
- Collaborate with VDC team, Project Managers, and Field Supervisors
- Utilize software like Navisworks, Revizto, BIMTrack, BIM 360 for model development
- Stay updated on industry trends and participate in training sessions
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Navisworks for clash detection
- Familiarity with Revizto or BIMTrack for model collaboration
- Knowledge of Trimble or Point Layout Tools
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction practices
Pay Details: $30.00 to $48.00 per hour
