Junior Electrical Designer
Summary: Seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer/Designer to develop and deliver electrical systems for construction projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, Electrician License, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of electrical engineering/design experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam.
- Understanding of one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and fire alarm system layouts.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced understanding of one-line and riser diagrams.
- Experience in designing electrical room layouts and coordinating MEP and architectural plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce electrical construction documents and pre-fabrication drawings.
- Design electrical circuits for power and lighting systems; layout fire alarm systems.
- Perform 3D modeling (BIM) and clash detection using Revit and Navisworks.
- Coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) plans with architectural plans.
- Conduct site visits to survey existing systems.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $48.00 per hour
