Summary: Seeking a Quilting Machine Operator responsible for operating and maintaining quilting machines in the production of bedding products.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing operations environment

  • 3+ years' experience operating quilting machines or other textile machinery

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Basic math skills for measuring and setting machine parameters

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift and/or move material for extended periods

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CNC (computerized numerical control) equipment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic quilting machines

  • Follow established procedures for various manufacturing tasks

  • Work with panel and border cutting equipment, Flanger sewing machine

  • Select and measure raw materials to specifications

  • Monitor process adherence using meters, gauges, valves, etc.

  • Report malfunctions and make minor adjustments/repairs

  • Thread and change needles as needed

  • Fit, align, calibrate, adjust parts to meet tolerances/product requirements

  • Manufacture quality products per specified standards

  • Verify measurements of cut panels per standard guidelines

  • Follow quality compliance batch sheet

  • Maintain raw material inventory

  • Perform routine inspections/basic preventative maintenance on equipment

  • Ensure clean/organized work area through daily cleaning process

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year
