Summary: Seeking a Machinist III with expertise in operating and maintaining machine tool equipment, programming machines, and ensuring quality standards.

  • Requirements:

    • HS Diploma, preferably from a technical HS
    • 4-6 years of related experience
    • Knowledge of ISO process controls
    • Excellent computer skills in a Windows environment, MRP/ERP systems; MS Office
    • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
    • Use of rubber gloves and safety glasses when working with chemicals or machinery
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Strong background in math and blueprint interpretation
  • Job Responsibilities:

    • Set-up and operate bench and machine tool equipment such as knee mill and engine lathe
    • Perform milling operations, turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and grinding to fabricate metal parts
    • Design and build tools and jigs
    • Perform preventive maintenance on all machines
    • Conduct tramming operations
    • Handle unusual set-ups with close tolerances and critical interrelated dimensions
    • Work from sketches, preliminary drawings, blueprints or verbal directions from engineers
    • Plan and layout assignments involving various machine and hand operations
    • Provide feedback on engineering drawings to design and quality engineering teams
    • Ensure quality requirements are met through peer inspections
    • Train other employees as needed
    • Meet delivery schedules

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour
