IT Support Specialist (with SQL Focus)
Summary: Seeking an IT Support Specialist with a focus on SQL to provide remote and onsite IT support, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with ERP database management.
Job Requirements:

Minimum of three years of experience providing IT support in a professional capacity
-
Intermediate SQL knowledge
-
Experience supporting ERP databases using SQL-based applications (MSSQL, BigQuery, PowerBi, LookerStudio)
-
Hands-on experience with installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and network devices (switches, wireless access points, firewalls, LAN, VPN)

Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
-
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory

Must pass background check & drug test

US Citizen or Green Card holder
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with collaboration tools (Google Workspace)

Familiarity with virtual desktop platforms/environments
-
Experience in virtual system administration
Job Responsibilities:
-
Provide timely response to email and telephone assistance requests
-
Accurately log helpdesk calls and use monitoring tools to ensure uptime and network health
-
Visualize problems or situations abstractly for effective problem-solving
-
Independently respond to employee requests for support and keep them informed of resolution timelines
-
Implement solutions following company policies and procedures
-
Support the IT Manager and local site leadership team professionally
-
Identify user difficulties and provide specific responses
-
Collaborate with internal/external resources to resolve issues quickly
-
Develop/document Help Desk procedures for the training library
-
Increase personal knowledge of business/technical environment to improve first-call resolution rates
-
Build partnerships by demonstrating expertise and professionalism regularly
Systems Used: Paycom, ADP, Sales Force, AwardCo, Visual MFG ERP (SQL Database), Google Workspace
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
