Job Summary: Seeking a Control Valve Technician with direct experience in valve repair and maintenance, with a focus on field and shop work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of direct control valve experience.

  • Ability to perform service requests under the supervision of the Shop Manager and Lead Technicians.

  • Ability to assist in the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of valves, cylinders, actuators, pumps and other equipment.

  • Willingness to travel for field repair (20% of the time).

  • Able to operate equipment such as Fork-Lift Truck for loading/unloading equipment at the shop, and moving parts/valves as needed.

  • Valid driver's license to drive vehicle to and from job sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with industrial manufacturing customers, suppliers, account managers, and other employees in functional areas such as VSTL, account manager, and production.

  • Conduct shop and field repair of valves and actuators.

  • Assist in loading/unloading tools into trucks for field repair.

  • Set up/take down required repair equipment on site/in the shop.

  • Test high pressure safety relief valves which requires precision awareness of processes/procedures.

  • Communicate/provide feedback to lead valve technician; follow direction/guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean work environment; adhere to all safety guidelines.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
