Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD and Inventor for developing detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models.

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of AutoCAD and Inventor experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or other CAD tools

  • Familiarity with Project Management Tools

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, including parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies

  • Use AutoCAD for 2D drafting and Inventor for 3D modeling to produce clear and accurate drawings

  • Create and refine complex 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies

  • Perform stress analysis and motion simulations to verify design feasibility

  • Generate assembly drawings and exploded views to illustrate component relationships

  • Create and update BOMs for projects, ensuring accurate part descriptions, quantities, and material specifications

  • Prepare detailed technical documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance teams

  • Identify design flaws or potential issues during the drawing creation process

  • Modify drawings to correct errors or incorporate design changes



Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
