Purchasing Agent
Summary: Seeking a Purchasing Agent with 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field, preferably within the electronics or manufacturing industry.
Job Requirements:
1-3 years' experience in supply chain management or a related field
Experience as a Purchasing Agent or similar role within the electronics/manufacturing industry
Strong negotiation skills
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices
Preferred Skills:
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize needs
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers
Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials
Review and process purchase orders for accuracy and compliance
Conduct market research on industry trends and pricing
Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing data
Collaborate with internal departments to meet procurement needs
Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and invoices
Develop strong supplier relationships for long-term partnerships
Pay Details: $31.00 to $36.00 per hour
