Purchasing Agent

Summary: Seeking a Purchasing Agent with 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field, preferably within the electronics or manufacturing industry.

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years' experience in supply chain management or a related field

• Experience as a Purchasing Agent or similar role within the electronics/manufacturing industry

• Strong negotiation skills

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Ability to multitask and prioritize needs

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials

• Review and process purchase orders for accuracy and compliance

• Conduct market research on industry trends and pricing

• Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing data

• Collaborate with internal departments to meet procurement needs

• Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and invoices

• Develop strong supplier relationships for long-term partnerships

Pay Details: $31.00 to $36.00 per hour
