Summary: Seeking a 7 Line Operator to operate thermoplastic extruder line, ensuring product quality and compliance with safety regulations and ISO standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Must pass Drug Test (excluding THC) and Background Check

  • Eligibility limited to US Citizens or Green Card holders

  • In-person interview process

  • Available for immediate start, with a 6-month temp-to-perm duration

Preferred Skills:

  • Conceptual understanding of the extrusion process

  • Familiarity with conductor operation including welding principles

  • Proficiency in assembly, disassembly, cleaning of extruder heads and tooling selection

  • Experience with compound conveyor systems, dryers, power switches, temperature/air/water controls

Job Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company safety rules and ensure operational safety at all times

  • Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness and orderliness

  • Punctual, dependable professional behavior is expected

  • Mechanically set up the line for various cable designs per engineering specifications

  • Monitor raw material supply for continuous operation

  • Maintain and operate welder for conductor welding to ensure continuous line operation

  • Set up and operate pay-off and take-up equipment as needed

  • Proactive in preventing downtime through preventive measures on line components

  • Perform measurements to ensure extrusion process meets required specifications

  • Generate product identification tags for cable products; maintain accurate records/data collection

  • Prepare cables for electrical testing where applicable; take corrective actions for quality assurance

  • Participate in team meetings; contribute to continuous improvement projects; maintain ISO certification

  • Adhere to System Level Procedures (SLP)

  • Serve as Emergency Action Warden for sector 5; assume primary duties if needed



Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
