Summary: Seeking an Automation Technician for 1st shift to provide technical support in designing, building, and testing automation equipment.

  • Requirements:

    • HS diploma or GED required

    • 3-5 years of manufacturing/technical experience, preferably as a technician

    • Technical writing experience (SOPs, work instructions, safety documents)

    • Proficient in MS Office software including Excel, Word & PowerPoint

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline

    • Experience with PLCs and programming

    • 3D CAD modeling and 3D printing experience

  • Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical and administrative support to automation engineering including data collection and entry

    • Assist in the review of existing and design of new manufacturing equipment and processes

    • Review, revise, and draft standard operating procedures including work instructions and process documents

    • Train operators and other employees on new equipment/processes

    • Troubleshoot automation equipment prior to and during production

    • Mechanical and electrical assembly of components from engineering drawings

    • Fabricate machine components using aluminum framing

    • Layout, wire, assemble, and troubleshoot electrical control systems for automated machinery

    • Manage workflow of 3D printers



Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.50 per hour
