Summary: Seeking an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Technician for 1st shift with 2+ years of environmental, health, and safety experience.

Job Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED (Required)

  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status

  • 2+ years of environmental, health, and safety experience

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

  • Working knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations

Preferred Skills:

  • 2- or 4-year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent

  • OSHA 10- and 30-hour certifications

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing safety

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote workplace safety and environmental compliance.

  • Participate in Lean manufacturing activities, meetings, and safety walks.

  • Conduct hazard assessments and recommend appropriate PPE.

  • Observe employee use of prescribed PPE and equipment.

  • Update job safety analysis (JSAs) and project-specific safety plans.

  • Coordinate training activities and organize training content.

  • Maintain EHS training learning management system database.

  • Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) internal database.

  • Coordinate proper hazardous waste management with vendors.

  • Monitor first-aid supplies and coordinate with vendors on stock.

  • Coordinate subsidized PPE compliance with department managers.

  • Update Benchmark Gensuite to track key environmental data.

  • Participate in incident investigations to establish root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Support a behavior-based safety program to reduce incidents.



Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
