Crane Assembler
Summary: Seeking experienced Crane Assemblers for assembling and wiring crane components, testing cranes, and repairing hoists.
Job Requirements:
3+ years of experience with cranes and hoists, or relevant industrial experience
Strong electrical and mechanical abilities
Ability to read blueprints
PLC knowledge
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Background check required
Preferred Skills:
Experience with various handheld pneumatic and electric power tools
Job Responsibilities:
Wire new cranes in the fabrication process
Assemble 3-phase and single-phase electric hoists to configuration requirements
Assemble pneumatic hoists to configuration requirements
Assemble and wire control boxes
Understand wiring to PLC and troubleshooting processes
Assemble and test electric/pneumatic chain hoists, electric wire rope hoists, push/geared/motorized trolleys per customer specifications
Assemble crane system electrical components including bridge control boxes, crane wiring, end truck motors per customer specifications
Operate various handheld pneumatic/electric power tools and machinery including drills, drivers, riveters, impact wrenches, nut runners, saws, grinders
Determine proper material layout including hydraulic hosing, air hosing, electrical wiring/junction boxes per blueprints/job specifications within quality standards/time constraints
Drill, tap, fit-up materials/components/products per blueprints/job specifications within quality standards/time constraints
Inspect/operate finished products to ensure conformance with specifications/quality requirements; complete product inspection list
Maintain cleanliness/orderliness of equipment/work area
Observe all safety/security procedures
Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
