Summary: Seeking experienced Welder/Fitter for technical operations involving layout, assembly, and welding based on engineering drawings.

Job Requirements:

  • AWC certification required

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a fitter welder

  • At least 5 years of GMAW (MIG) welding experience

  • Own reliable transportation

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Pass welding test and become certified within 6 months

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with 5S and lean manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

  • Select equipment and plan part layout; cut, fit material, tack material, and weld as per drawings

  • Analyze engineering drawings to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations

  • Fit materials/components/products per blueprints/job specifications within quality standards and allotted time

  • Set up, adjust machines, and equipment to produce quality products within tolerance levels

  • Perform quality tests, certifications, and production checks as required by Quality Assurance

  • Operate overhead crane and forklift equipment safely

  • Use various tools including mag-drill, punch press, horizontal saw, plasma cutter, carbon arc gouging tools safely

  • Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions

  • Maintain clean and orderly work area

  • Observe all safety and security procedures

  • Ensure no delays in scheduled production

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor



Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
