Summary: Seeking Shippers to operate high-speed packaging lines, inspect and prepare cable products for shipment, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the wire & cable industry

  • Proficiency in material handling techniques

  • Operation of high-speed packaging line equipment

  • Knowledge of high voltage testing and fault location

  • Understanding of safety issues related to chemicals, high-speed packaging lines, and high voltage testing

  • Familiarity with tools and measuring devices applicable to the industry

  • Awareness of ISO requirements pertaining to the lines

  • Ability to read micrometers and other precision tools

  • Mechanical aptitude for line operation and troubleshooting basic line problems

  • Capability to perform simple computer tasks

Job Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company safety rules during working hours

  • Verify product conformity with packaging requirements before shipment release

  • Visually inspect empty take-up reels for proper conditions

  • Ensure no physical damage to cable products or packaging materials

  • Generate product identification tags for finished products

  • Maintain accurate record keeping as required by Hendrix

  • Clear hold tags (non-conforming product) as instructed

  • Interact with Quality Control to verify product conformance

  • Terminate cable ends when necessary

  • Weigh work center scrap, complete scrap tag requirements, including reporting

  • Verify calibration of measuring devices

  • Schedule and complete work assignments per customer due dates

  • Load trucks according to shipping requirements on the work order or company standards



Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
