Summary: Seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist (Class A) to perform complex setups, review programs, and make necessary edits for precision machining.

Job Requirements:

  • Setup and run CNC or manual machines, both horizontal and vertical.

  • Use height gages, calipers, micrometers, gage pins, thread gages, and optical comparators.

  • Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose cutting efficiency or malfunctions.

  • Expert knowledge of tapping, threading, and thread forms.

  • Experienced with materials including cutting speed and feeds.

Preferred Skills:

  • Design and build work holding devices as needed.

  • Expertise in deburring and finishing techniques.

  • Self-sufficient in all areas of machining and production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Study blueprints, sketches, drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.

  • Measure, mark, scribe dimensions on material as guides for subsequent machining.

  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed and feed.

  • Start machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; adjust controls as required.



Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
