Summary: Seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician with 1-3 years of chemical laboratory or relevant industrial experience to perform essential chemical analysis and maintain process control in a plating operation.

Job Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 1-3 years of chemical laboratory or relevant industrial experience

  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, communication)

  • Intermediate computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel

  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills

  • Must pass drug test (NO THC) and background check

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

  • Initiative for continuous improvement

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform essential chemical analysis for process control in plating operations

  • Use analytical methods including pH meter, hydrometer, AA spectrophotometer, thermometer, and titration equipment

  • Enter test results in True Chem software; alert supervisor/chemical engineer if conditions exceed control limits

  • Respond proactively to conditions exceeding control limits by resampling and error proofing

  • Make chemical additions to plating lines as required; make-up new plating baths as needed

  • Utilize Hull Cell for diagnostic troubleshooting

  • Maintain inventory of manufacturing chemicals, reagents, and lab supplies

  • Audit plating lines per standard operating procedures

  • Maintain clean and organized lab environment

  • Follow company policies/procedures and safety rules; wear PPE as required



Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
