Summary: Seeking Plating Operators with manufacturing experience to oversee plating line operations and ensure quality control.

Job Requirements:

  • Must pass drug test (NO THC) and background check

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

  • HS Diploma or GED

  • 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, machine and tool uses and maintenance, arithmetic, algebra, chemical composition and processes

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic computer skills including E-mail, Microsoft Word, and Excel

  • Experience with FARM system, Label Verify, True Chem

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily shift change meetings

  • Interface with outgoing shift operator for production continuity

  • Review work schedule and check necessary equipment & supplies

  • Audit plating line for proper state of solutions and equipment

  • Utilize FARM system for operational controls

  • Lift and load material using proper techniques or buddy system

  • Run samples for Quality approval

  • Operate plating line per SOP & Work Instructions after approval

  • Perform tests such as dissolves and pH checks using True Chem

  • Conduct equipment changes as needed (solutions, brushes, etc.)

  • Record scrap counts accurately using Label Verify

    • Ensure equipment is properly maintained at the end of shift

    • Complete all required paperwork accurately

    • Train less experienced platers as needed

    • Alert less experienced platers to potential problems on their lines

    • Follow non-conformance procedures as required

    • Collaborate with QA on quality issues and corrective actions

    • Adhere to company policies, safety rules, PPE requirements, MSDS guidelines

Documentation Requirements: Accurately complete Daily Dissolves, Scrap Tickets, Pre-Flights, Line Logs, Skid Sheets, Line Journal Drum Tickets Rework Log during shift

Housekeeping Duties: Take scrap to designated location; organize workstation tables; clean trash around line; organize raw materials; sweep floor; return tools/parts/chemicals; clean area after each setup/job/maintenance project; monitor area for safety hazards; organize finished goods.



Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
