Summary: Seeking a Purchasing Expeditor responsible for ensuring timely supply and inventory management, communicating with suppliers, and handling purchase orders.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • At least 2 years of expediting/purchasing support experience

  • Mid-level to advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Knowledge of MRP systems

  • Negotiation skills with collaborative and creative approaches

Preferred Skills:

  • General knowledge of electronic components used in the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards

Job Responsibilities:

  • Run reports from Shortage sheet for high-lighted/risk parts and send to suppliers

  • Monitor supplier delivery dates and expedite when necessary

  • Update system with new supplier-provided dates and shortage sheet daily

  • Update Accounts Payable file with credit hold information

  • Escalate critical shortages to the relevant list when no stock is available

  • Review supplier comments on POVD to prevent delays, seek alternate sources if needed

  • Run weekly cancel/delay reports, send to suppliers, and update PO information accordingly

  • Contact vendors to verify supplies and communicate expected delivery dates to Project Managers

  • Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved operations coordination

  • Collaborate with Project Managers on delivery timelines updates

  • Occasionally handle buying projects as needed



Pay Details: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
