Assembly Technician I
Summary: Seeking an Assembly Technician I to perform assembly operations, inspect quality, and troubleshoot issues in a manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred
Previous experience in assembly or related manufacturing environment
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Basic understanding of electrical and electronic components advantageous
Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
Preferred Skills:
Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field
Job Responsibilities:
Perform assembly operations using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
Inspect and verify the quality of assembled components and finished products
Identify and report defects or non-conformities to the supervisor
Conduct functional tests on assembled products to verify proper operation
Troubleshoot malfunctions and make necessary adjustments or repairs
Maintain organized inventory of components, parts, and tools for assembly process
Monitor stock levels and request replenishments as needed
Adhere to safety protocols while working with machinery and potentially hazardous materials
Perform routine maintenance tasks on assembly equipment and tools
Pay Details: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour
