Chemical Process Operator (Richmond, CA)
Summary: Seeking a Chemical Process Operator to manage and troubleshoot batch and continuous chemical processes.
Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, read, and write professionally in English
Intermediate-level math skills for unit conversion and ratio calculation
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word)
Preferred Skills:
Associate degree with a chemical/biological background
Chemical/biological production experience in a regulated environment
Experience with ERP systems like SAP
Compliance with hazardous material regulations and wastewater handling
Knowledge of handling reactors
Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, control, and troubleshoot chemical processes
Adhere to safety protocols for storing chemicals, operating machines, and disposing materials
Follow procedures for handling chemicals as per regulations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Execute tasks according to standard operating procedures
Weigh, measure, prepare, mix, monitor, and adjust chemical materials using large-scale reactors
Collect samples and perform in-line product testing to resolve issues before completing production
Maintain documentation as required by local, federal, and company regulations
Perform equipment cleaning and batch preparation
Communicate inventory, planning, and quality issues to the supervisor or appropriate department partner
Pay:18-20

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
