Test technician
Summary: Seeking a test technician with experience in PCB manufacturing for performing complex functional tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic, electrical, and electromechanical units.
Job Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a test technician in PCB manufacturing
Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, frequency counters, function generators, multimeters)
Ability to read and work from schematics
Ability to perform basic math and algebra calculations
Prior experience within electronic manufacturing service environment
Ability to troubleshoot down to component level
EMS experience: 3 years (required)
Electronics troubleshooting: 3 years (required)
PCB experience: 3 years (required)
Preferred Skills:
Strong computer skills and background in micro-processor based products
Job Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of complex functional tests and associated operations
Troubleshoot using standard techniques and make repairs on various units
Work from schematics, blueprints, data sheets, test procedures, and verbal instructions
Test and troubleshoot using oscilloscopes, frequency counters, function generators, multimeters, customer-supplied functional test equipment
Test and troubleshoot high voltage assemblies and subassemblies when required
Fill out test reports and other forms associated with the Test department
Maintain test equipment and notify supervisor when equipment is broken or due for calibration
Interface with departmental supervisors, coworkers, and customers to resolve issues
Ensure work area is kept clean and safety rules are followed
Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
