Chemical Operator
Summary: Seeking a Chemical Operator to perform manufacturing tasks involving chemical handling, mixing, and equipment operation.
Job Requirements:
Experience with reading, writing, and arithmetic for manufacturing tasks
Basic English communication skills
Willingness to work with chemicals daily
Ability to lift materials up to 40 pounds
Capacity to work 12-hour shifts and be on feet all day
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Job Responsibilities:
Follow detailed chemical mix instructions and procedures for membrane creation
Operate within SOPs and JSAs
Use various tools and test equipment for operations related to membrane solution mixing
Prepare, sample, transfer, clean up, and dispose of chemicals used in the process
Assist other operators in mixing solutions as needed
Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
