Summary: Seeking a Production Tech with expertise in CNC machining, robotics, and maintenance mechanics for operational and technical duties in steel component handling and equipment maintenance.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience as a CNC Machinist, Robotics Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic

  • Ability to move large steel components using cranes, industrial rolling stands, and potentially forklifts

  • Proficiency in loading/unloading steel components during delivery within the factory

  • Skilled in maintaining equipment such as stands/conveyors and lifting equipment (forklifts/cranes)

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient with robotic arm operations for stainless-steel coating applications

  • Knowledge of programming tool paths for laser welding robots using platforms like IRC5, Wolf Ware or RobotStudio

  • Capable of calibrating robot positions using tool centerpoint calibration processes

  • Experience monitoring welding robots during cladding deposition processes

  • Ability to adjust welding parameters like power, gas flow, and wire feed rate

  • Competency in inspecting deposited materials for thickness and visual defects

  • Routine inspection and maintenance skills on robotic welders including contact tip replacement

Job Responsibilities:

  • Record deliveries and mark components with unique identifying information

  • Conduct regular inspections of machining tools and maintain proper leveling of equipment

  • Monitor face milling tools during machining process to ensure consistency

  • Inspect machined components against specifications to determine if they meet desired outcomes or require rework

  • Maintain cleanliness of workpieces and machinery by removing steel shavings after machining

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8AM - 4:30PM or 9AM - 5:30PM; 40 hours per week

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
