Summary: Engineer-Mechanical I needed to support departments, manage tooling initiatives, and maintain compliance with technical manuals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; or 2-5 years of related experience and/or training

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)

  • Experience with ERP and Documentation Control programs

Preferred Skills:

  • Capacity to lift/move up to 30 pounds

  • Willingness to travel 5-10% internationally

  • Adaptability of Mechanical/Technical/Interpersonal skills for unique organizational needs

Responsibilities:

  • Support all departments and external customers by resolving tooling or documentation issues

  • Apply mechanical aptitude/knowledge for effective problem-solving

  • Prioritize health, safety, and flight safety in job execution

  • Manage internal improvement initiatives for tooling efficiency and quality enhancement

  • Determine necessary tool requirements for industrial operations departments

  • Order necessary tooling via ERP system while ensuring compliance with technical manuals

  • Process customer property/tools for repair/replacement and manage incoming new/repaired tools from suppliers

  • Validate new tools/processes during first article process for new engines or repair procedures introduction

  • Perform basic repairs on damaged/nonconforming tooling or route for appropriate repair; order replacements as needed

  • Collaborate with Tech Support Engineers on specialty equipment orders based on technical documentation requirements

  • Maintain databases for calibrated tooling inventory, asset tracking, expiration dates of perishables used in operations

  • Engage in cross-functional improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean, MRO

4.0)

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
