Summary: Seeking a Sr. Production Builder for assembly, testing, and inspection of electromagnetic switches in Aerospace and Defense industries.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in interpreting product build details from blueprints with minimal guidance.

  • Proficiency in manufacturing operations for product assembly setup and breakdown.

  • Advanced knowledge of sequential manufacturing build steps and conformance validation.

  • Strong technical production knowledge with LEVEL 2 package builds experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in Resistance Welding, including setup and electrode selection.

  • Skilled in TIG Welding with tooling and weld parameter definition.

  • Capable of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Press Setup & Operation, including die sets and input pressure adjustments.

  • Knowledgeable in Production Lathe setup and use, identifying tooling and fixtures.

  • Experienced in Electrical Testing such as Dielectric & Terminal Identification.

  • Competent in Equipment Setup across various operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert in build operations, providing guidance to operators on setup and quality requirements.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Team Leaders & Engineers to identify nonconformances ensuring product quality.

  • Assist less experienced team members by offering support on recognized good setups prior to build execution.

  • Engage in continuous improvement activities aimed at reducing material scrap and increasing yields.

  • Read, comprehend, communicate effectively regarding written/verbal instructions; self-starting while following orders as directed.

  • Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, availability for assigned shifts, and willingness to work required overtime.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
