Summary: Seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist with medication preparation under pharmacist supervision, perform quality control, and manage inventory.

Job Requirements:

  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of operation

  • Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds occasionally

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous Pharmacy Technician experience

  • CPhT Certification

  • Proficient in basic math and calculator use

  • Competent with computer software and keyboard interaction

  • Detail-oriented with strong retention skills

  • Ability to interpret regulations and laws into instructions

  • Professional verbal communication skills

  • Effective team player participation

  • Understanding of compounding principles, theories, laws, policies, and procedures

  • Familiarity with mail order pharmacy operations

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation while maintaining quality control standards

  • Transcribe veterinarian orders onto pharmacy computer medication profiles under direct supervision

  • Compound medications following pharmacy practice standards under pharmacist oversight

  • Dispense prescriptions post-pharmacist approval adhering to pharmacy law and practice standards

  • Routinely check and remove outdated medications from stock

  • Maintain appropriate records

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
