Assembly Tech

Summary: Seeking an Assembly Tech B to prepare, assemble, inspect, and test high-frequency RF Microwave cable assemblies.

Job Requirements:

• Must pass a background check and drug test.

• 1 year of RF related and/or mechanical assembly experience.

• Basic math skills.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work with hand tools and semi-automated tools/fixtures.

• Strong computer skills for specific program operations and documentation access.

• Proficient in documentation and record keeping.

• Able to interpret product drawings, written, and verbal instructions.

• Experience using electrical and mechanical test and inspection equipment.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe, clean working environment following company policies and procedures.

• Record all assembly-related inspection/test results accurately.

• Perform in-process inspections/tests according to product/process specifications.

• Operate equipment/tools/fixtures for cutting, prepping, trimming cable as specified.

• Assemble connectors, labels, parts to form complete cable assemblies per specifications.

• Conduct mechanical inspections/tests such as dimensional checks and connector cable retention/torque assessments.

• Assist QA functions with root cause analysis when required.

• Prepare work by reviewing product/process documentation, parts lists, tools/fixtures.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
