Maintenance Technician

Summary: Seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician with expertise in machine repair, diversified machine operations, and the physical ability to handle heavy machinery.

Requirements:

• Accredited journeyman apprenticeship in machine repair.

• Five years of experience in diversified machine operations.

• Proficient knowledge of machining technology, electrical codes, mechanical principles, advanced shop mathematics, job layout and precision measuring procedures, setups, tooling applications, and operating methods.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and maneuver heavier objects using appropriate equipment.

• Skilled in operating hoist/lifting equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and operational problems; observe operation to detect causes of malfunction.

• Repair and maintain machinery according to blueprints, catalogs, and data charts; disassemble and rebuild machines as necessary.

• Select replacement parts from lists and catalogs; set up and operate machine tools to fabricate parts; may create some custom tooling.

• Perform machinist work for new machine tool installations or relocation of existing machines; may collaborate as part of a project team.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
