Summary: Seeking an experienced Assembly Operator with a focus on automated systems for operation, setup, inspection and maintenance in a medical device company.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of five years assembly experience, preferably in a medical device company

  • Previous equipment operation experience, preferably automated

  • Prior microscope usage and sharp attention to detail

  • Basic math and English skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work overtime when needed

  • Ability to comprehend specific manufacturing documentation such as product drawings, bill of materials and product routings

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous manufacturing experience with Lean Principles

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate automation tip assembly machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

  • Adjust machine settings or clear jams to complete tasks according to specification

  • Perform 1st piece and in-process inspections recording data in control charts

  • Utilize ERP system to generate and reconcile work orders

  • Understand and utilize Kanban system

  • Accurately record information including quality statistics

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

  • Train operators on current work instructions and operations of automation tip assembly machine

  • Support production operations during lead person absence



Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
